Spring Fling Kidlit Contest

Spring Fling is finally here! I really enjoyed taking part last year and was delighted to receive an an honourable mention!
The same rules apply - choose a gif to inspire your story, geared towards kids ages12 and under. Then have fun with a maximum word count of 150 words - which I have grown to love doing!
So here is my entry called 'Alien Allergy' inspired by this amazing gif!

Alien Allergy

Alien loved visiting the lovely but odd planet called Earth. Until he arrived in early
spring and his nostrils exploded!
"Achoo wachoo!"
Peculiar, he thought. What on earth was happening!
Suddenly a human appeared.
"Achoo!" went the human. "The joys of spring," he spluttered. "I'm off to see a doctor.
Perhaps you should go and see one too?"
So alien made his way to a packed doctor's office.
"You have the worst case of allergic rhinitis I've seen," said the doctor. "Go home,
take these pills and you'll soon feel like your old self again!"
"Thank choo!" went Alien, before racing back to the spaceship, carefully dodging the
slimy nostriled humans along the way!
But before blasting off, he sent a signal to his people.

Spring Surprise!

Skully only ever threw Halloween parties. So, it was a big surprise when a letter arrived from his best friend, Marty McFright.
It read:
Dear Skully,
Thank you for inviting me to your spring party. See you on April 1st.
Love Marty.

Whaaat! There must be some mistake!
A chill went down Skully's spine.
He threw the best spidery, cobwebby parties. But chicks and bunnies? Boo!

Skully looked around the living room.
Time for a spring clean!
Skully swept away the cobwebs and let the bat out.
Then got straight on the telebone to order some treats.

The big day arrived and there was a knock at the door.
And there stood Marty.
"April fool!" he cried.
Then he laughed until his bones ached.

Luckily for Marty, Skully had funny bones too!
